about
Yoga had a profound impact on me from the start. I remember well my very first session in 2012, at university. I woke up from my first ever Savasana (there resting pose at the end of each session), thanked the teacher and walked down the hallway. I remember the white pattern on the green carpet.
I did not know what it was exactly, but I knew that this is what life was meant to feel like. This was also where the work started.
My mind was racing and my breath was shallow and my body unfamiliar. I was inflexible- could barely touch my toes.
years of practice
One of my fellow students had been practicing Ashtanga Yoga throughout her childhood with her mother. I was luck to learn from her soon after discovering yoga, and in 2013 i bought Gregor Maehle’s book Ashtanga Yoga – Practice & Philosophy.
Gregor’s teaching became my steady companion, but it did not save me from making every possible mistake- except one: I overstretched, glared ambitiously at others during lessons, used Asana asa way to punish myself and (much later) identified myself with my now fit and flexible body. But I never stopped practicing
At university I studies philosophy, and from what I understood about phenomenology and epistemology I knew that working with my sensory system and the way I was looking at the world from within my body-mind was profound. This kept me on the mat.
becoming a teacher
In the summer of 2025, after 13 years of practice, I finally took the step and traveled to Bali to study with Gregor and Monica in person. Their teaching — rooted in deep knowledge, humility, and compassion — changed me profoundly.
Yes, it sounds like a cliché: Bali, yoga, fruit bowls, life-changing.
And yet, it truly was. Not because of the setting, but because I was ready:
I had practiced, I had failed, I had returned — again and again.
why I teach
After the training I took some time traveling, teaching and enjoying a new state of peace and clarity. It is this state, which I want to share with you.
Teaching Yoga is an act of service. Sharing a practice that has given me so much is a great honor for me, and I wish for everyone to have a chance to discover this gift. You will know if you want to. You will know when you are ready.
Yoga can change your life too, and I am here to guide you on this path.
