Moving from the Center
An Act of Devotion
In this Contact Improvisation Workshop you will get to know and practice fundamental tools that help you develop ease, connection and deep expression in your dance.
Day 1
Moving from the Center
Sharing weight from our center of gravity to the center of our partners, we find a deep connection and effortless support, that allows us to “fall in place” and discover new ways of being together.
This day covers timeless fundamentals and is suitable for beginners and intermediate practicioners.
Day 2
Holding & Unfolding
Two fundamental principles govern our emotional and physical state in CI:
The sensation of falling triggers our body’s natural reaction of wanting to hold on. Transforming tension into a sense of spaciousness will help us discover ease and effortless connection even throughout the more acrobatic moments of our dance.
Day 3
Effort & Harmony
Meeting the other on the dance floor is an effort. How do we make space for this encounter, while staying true to ourselves?
How can we communicate authentically through our dance?

What people say about the workshop

“Thank you for a truly beautiful and enriching workshop, Fabio. You held the space with such grounded wisdom and clarity—it was both inspiring and deeply supportive. I felt gently guided to relax into my body and connect with others with ease, which allowed physical and mental layers of tension to unfold naturally. Your facilitation helped create a sense of trust, depth, and presence that stayed with me long after the weekend.”
Anna Victoria, Yoga Teacher
Ubud, Bali

“I found the workshop really essential to anyone, beginners or advanced dancers. I learned to feel, pause, stop and slow down. Fabio has experienced in dance but also in life philosophy, and is able to connect human beings through movement. What we learned went beyond dance itself, exploring how to stay in the dance why maintaining our boundaries, our own space.”
